Real Estate Data Compared to Last Year
October 28, 2021 at 12:42pm | Julie Hayward
The market is still great overall, but we’re starting to see a shift.
Today I’ll discuss how the real estate market has changed year to date.
It's still a great seller’s market and people, are still selling, upsizing, downsizing, moving here, and moving to other parts of the country. However, we're also starting to see a bit of a shift in buyer behavior. Instead of 20 offers on a home,
we might only see three or four. In our local market, in September 2020, we had 19 new listings and 133 sales. This September, we had 149 listings and 93 sales. The average days on market went from 34 to 15. The median sales price has gone up
by 14% and the average list price has gone up 12.83%.
The market's still great if you're thinking about selling or buying. I have strategies to help you win the deal and I'd be more than happy to help. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
